Key Responsibilities- Perform a wide range of patient care activities, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and assisting with medical procedures.
- Compile and maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories, test results, and treatment plans.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and handling patient correspondence.
- Participate in patient education and counseling, providing information on health and wellness, disease prevention, and treatment options.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient clinic operations.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant training program a plus.
- Ability to type a minimum of 30 words per minute accurately.
- Three to six months of on-the-job training to attain proficiency in assigned duties and responsibilities.
