Job Summary

As a Licensed Practical Nurse with the CAMC Health System, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our healthcare team. Your primary responsibility will be to assist healthcare providers in delivering high-quality patient services, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Administrative Support: Assist healthcare providers with patient registration, discharge, and other related services, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Clinical Support: Provide assistance to healthcare providers during patient visits, including vital sign collection, medication administration, and specimen collection.
  • Communication and Liaison: Serve as a liaison between healthcare providers, patients, and staff, ensuring effective communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with ordering and maintaining inventory of medical supplies and equipment.
  • Education and Training: Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain and improve clinical skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Education: Must have a current LPN license and a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Credentials: Must have Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
  • Work Schedule: Must be available to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
