Job Title: Preschool Quality Assurance Specialist

Lutheran Services Florida (LSF) is a leading provider of social services, and we are seeking a talented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team.

About the Role

The Quality Assurance Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our Head Start/Early Head Start programs. This includes monitoring activities at assigned sites, assessing curriculum implementation, and providing CLASS observations for teaching staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor quality and compliance at assigned sites, including education files, licensing requirements, and ERSEA systems.
  • Assess curriculum implementation throughout the agency and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Provide CLASS observations for all teaching staff on a rotating basis.
  • Serve as a resource to staff at assigned sites in areas such as mental health, nutrition, education, and social services.
  • Assist in the provision of parent training to parents of enrolled children in areas such as community resources and child development.
  • Meet monthly with site managers/liaisons to keep them abreast of new developments in the Head Start Program.
  • Generate and analyze reports as requested and use this information to implement strategies for continuous quality improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in social work, social services, early childhood education, or early childhood development.
  • Two years of experience working in a social services or education management or specialist position.
  • Bilingual preferred: English/Spanish or English and other languages present in the local area.
