CNC Operator and CNC Setter Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator and CNC Setter to join our team at The Arnold Group. As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for loading and unloading machines to produce parts, deburring parts after the CNC process, and assisting with set ups and change/insert drills to maintain efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload machines to produce parts.
  • Deburr parts after the CNC process has been completed.
  • Assist with set ups and change/insert drills to maintain efficiency.
  • Set up machines and run first part to initiate part production from raw material.
  • Do first part inspection and make necessary adjustments.
  • Capture and report any problems, communicate updates and concerns.
  • Pre-build tooling for upcoming jobs.
  • Assist and lead SMED/Lean activities.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 year machining experience required.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong mathematical background.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time, lift heavy objects, and read blueprints.
Work Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm or 7:00am to 3:30pm.
