About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Merchandise Associate. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and adhering to all operational and merchandise standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, adhering to all visual merchandising standards and ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers
  • Process customer purchases and returns accurately, handling cash and credit transactions with precision and attention to detail
  • Promote credit and loyalty programs, encouraging customers to take advantage of our rewards and benefits
  • Participate in store recovery efforts, maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and colleagues
  • Support and participate in store shrink reduction goals and programs, adhering to all labor laws and policies
Requirements
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on delivering a positive and personalized shopping experience
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, supporting business needs and adapting to changing circumstances
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to multitask
  • Capable of lifting heavy objects, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Works effectively with peers and supervisors, demonstrating a positive and collaborative attitude

This position has a starting pay range of $15.00 to $15.50 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
