Position Overview:
As a Product Engineer specializing in Evaporators, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Evaporator Service Product Group across North America. This position involves taking on process engineering responsibilities for a comprehensive range of Evaporator Service Products.

Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing process engineering assistance to the Product Manager for the complete line of Evaporator Service products, which includes sales support, sizing, and project assistance.
  • Conducting customer visits and audits aimed at resolving issues and enhancing product sales, accompanied by detailed trip reports and follow-up actions.
  • Performing heat and material balance calculations to ensure optimal process efficiency.
  • Carrying out process equipment sizing to meet project specifications.
  • Developing P&ID and system configurations to facilitate project execution.
  • Conducting safety and HAZOP reviews, including assessments of safety system designs.
  • Offering process engineering support during checkouts, start-ups, and performance evaluations.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:

  • A Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering or Pulp & Paper Technology.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the field.
  • Experience in delivering on-site evaluations, audits, and training to customers.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at various levels, both verbally and in writing.
  • The capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Willingness to travel moderately (30%-50%) based on project requirements.
