We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented EDI Solutions Architect to contribute to our client's operations on a temporary-to-permanent basis. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining EDI solutions that facilitate efficient and accurate data interchange within a manufacturing context.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead the architecture and execution of EDI solutions that align with organizational objectives.
2. Collaborate with various teams to gather insights on business processes and requirements.
3. Oversee the development and maintenance of Order to Cash processes and associated IT systems.
4. Design and implement Hana and IDocs modules effectively.
5. Ensure seamless integration of EDI systems with other business applications.
6. Monitor EDI transactions and resolve any issues that may arise.
7. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for EDI processes and systems.
8. Provide training and support to users of EDI systems.
9. Stay informed about the latest trends and technologies in the EDI landscape to keep our solutions competitive.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in EDI architecture, particularly with Hana and IDocs modules.
- Strong grasp of Order to Cash processes and IT systems.
- Proven track record in designing and implementing EDI solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, particularly in troubleshooting complex EDI challenges.
- Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Strong project management capabilities, with the ability to juggle multiple projects effectively.
- Up-to-date knowledge of current EDI technologies and industry developments.
- Experience in the finance sector is advantageous.
