Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintain comprehensive records of field observations, including daily reports that detail the work performed, as well as field measurements and calculations for completed work eligible for payment.
2. Collaborate effectively within a team environment.
3. Develop a fundamental understanding of contracts and be familiar with the regulations and codes governing construction.
4. Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications, identifying any discrepancies or conflicts within the documents.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or relevant coursework is preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in the field or related training in design, construction inspection, materials engineering/testing, or other construction-related areas.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Basic knowledge or willingness to learn about quality requirements for construction materials.
- Valid driver's license and ability to work on-site.
