Front Desk Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Desk Representative to join our team at OrthoWashington. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for our patients.
Responsibilities:- Answering Phone Calls: Respond to incoming phone calls in a timely and professional manner, providing accurate and helpful information to patients and visitors.
- Patient Flow Management: Assist with patient check-in, check-out, and registration processes, ensuring that all necessary paperwork and documentation is completed accurately and efficiently.
- Medical Records Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including indexing and filing documents in our electronic medical records system.
- Confidentiality and Professionalism: Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion and professionalism.
- Additional Duties: Perform other duties as needed to support the front office team and ensure the smooth operation of our office.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of customer service, general office, or receptionist experience required. Minimum 3 years of medical field experience preferred.
- Skills: Knowledgeable in ICD and CPT coding preferred. Able to read, write legibly, speak in English (and Spanish preferred) with professional quality. Proficient in computer software programs necessary to the position.
- Personal Qualities: Collaborative, able to accept direction, work independently with minimal supervision, and perform basic math functions.
