Job Title: Early Childhood Education/Disabilities Coordinator

We are seeking a highly qualified Early Childhood Education/Disabilities Coordinator to join our team at the East Coast Migrant Head Start Project.

We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing high-quality early childhood education to migrant and seasonal farmworker children and families. With 50 campuses across 10 states, we serve nearly 3,000 children each year.

Job Summary

The Early Childhood Education/Disabilities Coordinator will provide on-going direction, support, training, and technical assistance for classroom staff in support of quality Early Childhood Education, Health and Family Services for enrolled children and families and Family Engagement practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide on-going direction, support, training, and technical assistance for classroom staff
  • Support quality Early Childhood Education, Health and Family Services for enrolled children and families
  • Develop and implement Family Engagement practices
  • Frequent travel (2-3 times per month for 2-3 days at a time)
Requirements

Accepted:
Bachelor's in early childhood education (ECE), Child Development, Special Education, Early Intervention, or related field with 6 courses (18 credits) in early childhood education; Head Start, supervisory and related years of experience.

Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.

Preferred:
Master's in early childhood education (ECE), Child Development, Special Education, Early Intervention, or related field with 6 courses (18 credits) in early childhood education; Head Start, supervisory and related years of experience.

Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.

Knowledge of the agricultural worker culture and lifestyle.

What We Offer

$46,000 - $58,000 depending on experience
