Job Summary:
The registered nurse plays a vital role in creating a safe patient environment and delivering exceptional patient care. Using evidence-based practice and clinical decision making, the nurse coordinates patient-centered care across the continuum to support successful transitions to other healthcare systems or home communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address complex patient needs.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and guidelines.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current IL RN license.
- BSN preferred, ADN acceptable with agreement for nurses with less than 12 months of experience to enroll in BSN completion program.
- Current AHA CPR certification.
- Will consider new graduates with capstone in ICU/critical care specialty areas.
