**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Field Services Engineer to provide on-site technical support to our customers in the semiconductor industry.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide field service engineering activities to customers independently, troubleshooting complex products and problems.
  • Receive service calls from customers, determine their needs or problems, and respond accordingly.
  • Offer over-the-phone consultation and advice to customers, respond to emergency situations, or schedule and repair Prosum's products at customer sites.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on Prosum's products.
  • Establish and manage local maintenance services.
  • Act as a liaison between customers and applications programmers for customer requests involving changes in applications.
  • Research market needs and customer applications of Prosum's products.
  • Submit application reports to management in a timely manner.
  • Support sales activities and establish and maintain good relationships with customers.
  • Participate in sales meetings as required.
  • Provide training to other Prosum field service engineers as needed.
  • Submit various reports, such as service reports, weekly reports, and expense reports to management in a timely manner.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or an equivalent field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in an Engineering role or as a Field Service Engineer within the semiconductor industry.
  • Desire to be customer-facing.
  • Occasional travel domestically to other client cities as needed.
