As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a critical role in delivering outstanding care to our patients by administering diagnostic and therapeutic radionuclides for the detection and treatment of disease.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals to achieve optimal exam results
  • Operate computers and scanning equipment to obtain optimal images
  • Respond to emergency calls and complete therapies and consultations
  • Maintain patient exam records and meet standards of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission
  • Enter data in exam result fields in Radiology Information System
  • Operate the PACS and Nighthawk to review and edit studies
  • Follow hospital radiation safety regulations to ensure patient and personal safety
Requirements
  • Board certification from ARRT (N), CNMT, or Indiana State Department of Health
  • Basic knowledge of pharmaceutical preparation, computer acquisition, and theory of nuclear medicine
  • Up to one year experience as Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Working Conditions

Works in a hospital office and patient environment, exposed to low level radiation and disease processes.

Physical Demands

Requires physical ability and stamina to perform essential functions of the position, including walking/standing for prolonged periods, pushing carts/wheelchairs, and providing CPR.
