Job Summary: As a Nuclear Medicine/PET Technologist at Froedtert Health, you will provide technical assistance in nuclear medicine by calculating and administering radioactive materials for therapeutic and diagnostic imaging. Your responsibilities will include assisting in preparation for examination, obtaining blood samples, instructing students, and assisting in the development of new diagnostic procedures. You will work effectively and harmoniously with medical staff, staff, students, and patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Calculates and administers radioactive materials for therapeutic and diagnostic imaging
  • Assists in preparation for examination and obtains blood samples
  • Instructs students and assists in the development of new diagnostic procedures
  • Works effectively and harmoniously with medical staff, staff, students, and patients

Requirements:
  • SPECT imaging experience and basic knowledge of NRC/Agreement State requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine Technology
  • Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists-(N) Nuclear Medicine Technology (ARRT-N) certification within six months of hire
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent within three months of hire/transfer date
