Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Embedded DSP Software Engineer to join our Physical Sciences & Systems business unit located in Middletown, RI. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and evaluating new DCLT algorithms in MATLAB, prototyping in C/C++ on deployed hardware, and supporting evaluation and test both in-lab and in the field.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement real-time detection, classification, localization, and tracking (DCLT) algorithms
  • Develop and implement multi-rate signal processing, beam-forming, direction finding for sonar systems
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team testing your contributions and analyzing performance
  • Integrate components you develop into a larger system in preparation for real-world testing and deployment
Requirements
  • Active DoD Secret security clearance
  • BS in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant discipline; plus 10 years of experience or MS plus 7 years
  • Algorithm development experience in MATLAB or Python
  • Software development experience implementing signal processing and tracking experience specifically with the US torpedo program

Relocation assistance is available for those that qualify. The salary range for this role is $118,000 - $246,000. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
