Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior and Principal Research Scientists to join our team working on cutting-edge projects within the domains of Radio Frequency Machine Learning (RFML), Digital Signal Processing (DSP), and/or Software Defined Radio (SDR).

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and prototype advanced RF algorithms.
  • Develop and implement signal processing solutions for wireless systems.
  • Conduct research on wireless standards, including LTE and open-source stack implementations.
  • Utilize modern machine learning frameworks to develop innovative solutions.
  • Work with software-defined radio platforms and software.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to research concepts and develop state-of-the-art solutions to complex problems.
  • Communicate research findings through presentations and publications to external customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Develop, implement, and analyze signal processing and wireless communication techniques using Matlab, Python, and C/C++.
  • Write design documents, simulation reports, and system documentation.
  • Debug and test prototypes on third-party SDR platforms.
Qualifications
  • Strong background in RFML, DSP, and/or SDR.
  • Highly proficient RF domain knowledge.
  • Experience with wireless communication techniques and standards.
  • Expertise in Matlab, Python, and/or C/C++.
  • Ability to contribute to Business Development with the government customer.
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Must possess an active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with modern machine learning development frameworks.
  • Experience with third-party SDR platforms and software.
  • Familiarity and experience with distributed signal processing techniques.

Target Salary Range

$190,000 - $304,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
