The MIL Corporation is seeking a skilled RF Communications Specialist to provide support for various RF communication systems and initiatives.
This position is designed to assist a Federal Government client and other projects as necessary.
This role currently necessitates a hybrid work schedule, requiring 3 days on-site, with the possibility of adjustments based on company or contract needs.Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive RF engineering analysis for systems and subsystems, ensuring accurate capture of system and external interface requirements.
Contribute to the development of both preliminary and detailed RF system architecture, performing market research and trade studies, while designing subsystems for military communication platforms.
Engage in integration, testing, evaluation, and installation engineering for RF electronic systems and subsystems at both MIL and client locations.
Participate in sustainment planning, field validation, verification testing, production engineering planning, risk assessment, and technical problem resolution.
Travel Requirements
Up to 25% as necessary
Required Qualifications
7+ years of experience in supporting RF systems within a classified environment, including SCIFs
Extensive experience with classified RF networking, equipment, and systems
Proficient in AM, HF, VHF, FM, and UHF RF technologies
Strong background in SATCOM and LOS radio communications
Experience in antenna system design and deployment
Knowledge of RF waveform engineering
Familiarity with RF over fiber
Education
Bachelor's Degree in a technical field from an accredited institution.
A high school diploma combined with six (6) years of relevant work experience or an Associate's Degree in a technical field plus four (4) years of additional relevant experience may substitute for a Bachelor's Degree.
Clearance
All candidates must possess a current Top Secret/SCI clearance with the capability to obtain Yankee White; please note that the clearance process includes financial background considerations.
