Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Case Manager to join our team at the Utah State Division of Services to the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting needs assessments, developing and implementing service plans, and providing support and advocacy for clients with hearing loss.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct needs assessments and develop service plans based on client needs
  • Provide support and advocacy for clients with hearing loss
  • Make community referrals and provide information on rights, options, and services
  • Document client progress and maintain accurate records
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in human services or related field
  • At least one year of professional experience working with deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals
  • Knowledge of accommodations for deaf and hard of hearing individuals
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and service providers
Preferred Qualifications
  • Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL)
  • Knowledge of deaf culture and community
  • Non-violent crisis intervention techniques
