The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting needs assessments, developing and implementing service plans, and providing support and advocacy for clients with hearing loss.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct needs assessments and develop service plans based on client needs
- Provide support and advocacy for clients with hearing loss
- Make community referrals and provide information on rights, options, and services
- Document client progress and maintain accurate records
- Bachelor's degree in human services or related field
- At least one year of professional experience working with deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals
- Knowledge of accommodations for deaf and hard of hearing individuals
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and service providers
- Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL)
- Knowledge of deaf culture and community
- Non-violent crisis intervention techniques
