Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with the Sr. Regional Maintenance Manager to develop and implement maintenance strategies that meet expectations at assigned communities.
  • Develop and manage maintenance team members, including onboarding, training, and scheduling work assignments.
  • Assist maintenance teams with day-to-day operations, including work orders, apartment turns, repairs, and other tasks as needed.
  • Set up and organize new maintenance shops, including creating maintenance checklists for each community.
  • Work with the Sr. Regional Maintenance Manager to implement programs that maximize revenue, control expenses, and improve resident satisfaction.
  • Manage vendors on-site, including pricing out contracts and maintaining accurate records.
  • Inspect grounds, buildings, and apartment homes regularly to ensure they are fully functional and meet our standards.
  • Review and create action plans for underperforming areas as identified by annual property audits.
  • Perform quality control checks on new construction and existing units as needed.
  • Follow expense guidelines and monitor operating expenses to identify cost-saving strategies.
Requirements
  • CFC/EPA 608 certification
  • Valid driver's license
  • Reliable transportation
  • Own tools
  • OSHA 30 Training
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in residential maintenance
