Facilities Operations Manager

CAMS, a leading HOA management company, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Facility Manager to join our team. This is a full-time position requiring a minimum of 40 hours per week, with on-call and emergency responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks and oversee contractors/vendors to ensure timely completion of work orders.
- Manage inventory and supplies necessary for community upkeep, ensuring a safe and secure living environment for residents and visitors.
- Conduct preventative maintenance tasks to maintain the physical integrity of properties, amenities, and grounds.
- Anticipate and correct problems involving the property, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Assist in the oversight of contractors and vendors, ensuring compliance with company standards.
- Generate and perform checklists for ongoing maintenance necessities.
- Provide exceptional customer service by following up on service requests and communicating with managers.
- Must possess a basic tool-bag and have at least 2 years of experience in property maintenance or a related field.
- Excellent attendance and punctuality are essential.
- Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently.
- Ability to work outside in various weather conditions.
- Must be available to perform after-hours emergency calls when needed.
- Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record.
- Comprehensive knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and life safety systems is required.
- General construction knowledge, including light sheetrock, drywall repairs, and painting, is necessary.
- Knowledge of swimming pool operation is also required.
- Must be skilled with the use of various hand and power tools, able to lift heavy objects, and climb ladders of varying heights.
- Carpentry skills are essential.
- Basic computer skills to input and complete work orders are necessary.
The salary range for this position is negotiable, based on the candidate's qualifications, and is between $20.00-$25.00 hourly, with room for growth. The CAMS compensation package includes:
