About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Associate to join our team at CTI Clinical Trial and Consulting Services. As a Business Development Associate, you will play a key role in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned customer territory and in support of the Business Development Director.
  • Cross-Selling and Upselling: Support the identification of cross-selling opportunities into other CTI business units, including RWE, RSA, and lab services.
  • Client Relationship Management: Facilitate and attend introductory meetings with new prospective clients for CTI and support the Business Development Sales Director in providing active follow-up.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct ongoing research for the territory you support and qualify and respond to website leads.
  • Support and Collaboration: Support the Business Development Sales Director in preparing for upcoming client meetings and bid defense meetings, and support the review and triage of RFPs through the internal CTI triage process.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement specific disease strategies to drive awareness, lead generation, and opportunity identification.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with key members of CTI's clinical operational management and proposal/contracting team, and communicate with existing accounts and internal CTI representatives to ensure needs are being met.
  • Pipeline Management: Continuously monitor and update the status of leads to ensure the pipeline is maintained.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or physical/life science.
  • Experience: 1 year in pharmaceutical, clinical, or related experience, with sales experience (including account profiling, relationship development, needs assessment, and account closing).
