Commercial Banker Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join our Commercial Lending team at Adams Bank and Trust.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a portfolio of existing customers and maximize relationships based on customer need, gathering and overseeing the compilation of all necessary information for loan applications.
  • Develop new business opportunities and grow loans, deposits, and fees.
  • Facilitate negotiation with customers, both new and existing, to establish credit terms and ensure timely loan closing and funding activities.
  • Actively participate in community activities that promote the Bank and assist with business development.

Requirements: The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, credit administration, and other stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are also essential, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
