Transmission Specialist

Job Title: Transmission Technician

Job Summary:

Central Power Systems & Services is seeking a skilled Transmission Technician to join our team in Wichita, KS. As a Transmission Technician, you will be responsible for the remanufacturing of various sizes of transmissions, including late model electronic models. You will work on a variety of Allison models, ranging from 800lbs to 3800lbs, with most being oil field based transmissions.

Responsibilities:

* Re-inspect all good parts
* Clean and prep gasket surfaces
* Prepare modules for reassembly
* Ensure proper torque settings
* Reassemble as per Allison rebuild manual

Requirements:

* Knowledge and ability to repair various sizes of transmissions
* Basic knowledge of computer operations
* Knowledge and ability to consistently repair components and equipment in line with dealers and manufacturers standards
* Drive and responsibility to work independently
* Own set of basic hand tools
