About the Job:

The Alaska Native Wellness Coach works to promote wellness and resilience among Alaska Native individuals. This role involves providing clinical mentoring and supervision to staff members, as well as maintaining current knowledge of best practices in behavioral health.

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement culturally responsive programs to promote wellness and resilience.
  2. Provide clinical mentoring to staff members on developing effective customer relationships.
  3. Maintain current knowledge of best practices in behavioral health.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a behavioral health field or PhD/Psy.D. in Clinical/Counseling Psychology.
  • Current license as a counselor or psychologist.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Three (3) years of clinical experience or demonstrated proficiency as a Clinician II at SCF.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with Alaska Native communities.
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills.
