About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Inspector to join our Engineering and Construction team in Bridgeport and/or Westchester county. As a Construction Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health and building codes, tracking bid items, and documenting daily field reports with photo attachments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect construction sites to ensure compliance with health and building codes
  • Track bid items and document daily field reports with photo attachments
  • Work alongside general contractors to perform maintenance and installation services around water lines
  • Install water mains and read construction drawings/specs
Requirements
  • Construction background as either a Laborer or Inspector
  • Ability to read construction drawings/specs
  • OSHA 10 Certification
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Reliable transportation (able to expense both per diem and tolls)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
