We are seeking a skilled Construction Inspector to join our Engineering and Construction team in Bridgeport and/or Westchester county. As a Construction Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health and building codes, tracking bid items, and documenting daily field reports with photo attachments.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect construction sites to ensure compliance with health and building codes
- Track bid items and document daily field reports with photo attachments
- Work alongside general contractors to perform maintenance and installation services around water lines
- Install water mains and read construction drawings/specs
- Construction background as either a Laborer or Inspector
- Ability to read construction drawings/specs
- OSHA 10 Certification
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Reliable transportation (able to expense both per diem and tolls)
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
