Job Summary:

The Manager Information Services will oversee the implementation, support, and lifecycle management of content within designated programs at CHRISTUS Health. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and developing a team of IS associates, as well as managing projects and initiatives.
  • Applying strong knowledge of healthcare operations, communication, problem-solving, critical thinking, and management skills to guide the design, development, and deployment of critical systems.
  • Driving process improvement in the delivery of application services.
  • Maintaining knowledge of current and emerging trends in healthcare technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and managing day-to-day operations to support efficient planning and resource utilization.
  • Successfully managing a full workload across multiple projects while leading a team.
  • Recruiting, onboarding, training, mentoring, and developing direct reports.
  • Conducting performance reviews and managing associate time and attendance/payroll.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, business, or a related field.
  • Financial skills related to budgeting, forecasting, and managing departmental budgets.
  • Strong knowledge of major healthcare information systems.
  • 3+ years of experience in IT leadership.
  • Ability to work on multiple and complex projects, demonstrate positive communication, and exhibit critical thinking skills.
