Job Responsibilities:

  • Interpret assembly drawings, process instructions, manufacturing outlines, worksheets, parts lists, and other directives, both written and verbal.
  • Execute the installation and assembly of CPUs, DIMMs, HBAs, and HCAs.
  • Conduct cabling, harnessing, crimping, and soldering in accordance with company specifications while adhering to proper ESD protocols. Utilize various epoxies and compounds to perform necessary bonding and coating tasks to meet drawing specifications.
  • Employ a range of tools and equipment, including torque wrenches, microscopes, hand tools, meters, and essential fixtures and tooling.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Product, and Quality Engineering teams to identify anomalies and recommend or perform rework to rectify discrepancies.
  • Alert supervisors to any abnormal conditions.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and serial number tracking of installed or replaced parts and work performed on work instructions.
  • Manage nonconforming parts in accordance with company specifications.
  • Transfer subassemblies and final assemblies to stock or production lines following final inspections.
  • Review build schedules with the Assembly Supervisor and/or Assembly Department Lead.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in Electro-Mechanical Assembly is advantageous.
  • Ability to read blueprints.
  • Consistently meet established time standards for work assignments.
  • Maintain production schedules or priorities set by Production Control.
  • Basic computer skills (Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook).

Compensation: Pay rate is $21.60/hr. Full-time employees are eligible for a 5% target bonus.
