**Job Overview:**

Xcellent Technology Solutions, Inc. is seeking an experienced Geospatial Data Engineer to join our team. This role will be responsible for designing and developing geospatial applications and back-end databases.

The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of geospatial technologies and experience with software tools such as ESRI, ArcGIS Portal, and ArcSDE.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Design and develop geospatial applications using Python, ArcPy, and ArcGIS API for Python.
  • Develop and maintain geospatial back-end databases using SDE Versioning.
  • Familiarity with ETL processes to facilitate smooth data extraction, transformation, and loading.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Computer Science, Geography, or Geospatial Science.

**Requirements:

  • Strong experience utilizing programming languages such as Python, ArcPy, and ArcGIS API for Python for GIS back-end applications.
  • Solid understanding of SDE Versioning and its role in geospatial data management.
  • Experience with ETL processes to facilitate smooth data extraction, transformation, and loading.
  • Bachelor's degree (BA) in a related field such as Computer Science, Geography, Geospatial Science, with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a related area with a focus on GIS technologies.
