We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Technician to join our team at Jackson North Medical Center. As a member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support.
Responsibilities- Provide personalized patient care, including vital signs, feeding, mobility, and hygiene needs.
- Assist healthcare team members with procedures, prepare equipment, and provide patient support.
- Transport patients to and from treatment areas, and maintain a clean and organized clinic environment.
- Participate in the fabrication of adaptive equipment, such as wheelchair gloves and safety belts.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant Certification program required.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Ability to analyze, organize, and prioritize work accurately, and communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
This role requires extended standing or walking, and the ability to lift or move objects weighing 51 to 100 pounds with the use of appropriate devices. You will be working in a fast-paced environment with occasional high pressure or emergent situations.
