Key Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Commercial Superintendent, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of commercial construction projects. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Managing all phases of the project lifecycle, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion.
2. Coordinating effectively with subcontractors to facilitate project progression.
3. Developing and implementing project performance metrics, including 3 Week Lookaheads.
4. Ensuring compliance with architectural and engineering specifications, as well as building and safety regulations.
5. Establishing and maintaining quality control protocols to uphold high standards.
6. Handling contract management, including negotiations and compliance oversight.
7. Addressing on-site challenges and emergencies with prompt solutions.
8. Upholding a safe and organized job site by enforcing safety measures.
9. Conducting regular inspections to monitor project advancement and adherence to design and safety standards.
10. Communicating effectively with all project stakeholders, providing updates and addressing concerns professionally.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
2. At least 5 years of experience in a Superintendent role or similar position within the construction industry.
3. Expertise in subcontractor and contract management, along with construction oversight.
4. In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, quality assurance, and safety practices.
5. Proven experience with 3 Week Lookaheads and site management.
6. Strong leadership and project management capabilities.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
9. Proficiency in interpreting blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
10. Familiarity with MS Office and construction management software.
11. Valid Occupational Safety and Health certification and a valid driver's license.
