About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineer to join our team at EMCOR Group. As a key member of our project management team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the execution and management of project contracts, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports and spreadsheets to stakeholders, utilizing industry-specific software such as Constructware and Prolog.
  • Perform quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) for project equipment and materials, maintaining accurate document control and reporting.
  • Maintain regular communication and collaboration with project superintendents, visiting assigned job sites to ensure project progress and address any issues.
  • Generate, maintain, and facilitate project documentation, including requests for information, submittals, project plans, specifications, and subcontract documentation.
  • Ensure attention to detail, efficiency, and integrity in all work products, with flexibility to adapt to changing project environments and locations.
  • Valid driver's license and responsible transportation required for commuting to various project sites.
  • Attend and conduct meetings as required, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Comply with all company operating policies, procedures, and safety programs, maintaining a safe working environment for all employees.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, construction management, business administration, or related field, or a combination of education and experience attaining Journeyman status.
  • Prior internship experience in a related field and/or one to three years of mechanical, plumbing, and/or industrial HVAC field experience.
  • Familiarity with a wide variety of field concepts, practices, and procedures, including OSHA safety standards and construction contract language.
  • Working knowledge of and ability to apply industry-specific software, with flexibility to adapt to new technologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to lead people and get results through others.
  • Ability to effectively organize and manage multiple projects, with technical skills in project management, quality assurance, and costing.
  • Commitment to company values and a strong sense of integrity, with ability to analyze and solve problems on a strategic and tactical level.
