Job Title: Construction Manager

Optimum EPC Contracting is seeking a highly skilled Construction Manager to oversee the implementation of utility-scale photovoltaic installation projects across all project phases.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and taking responsibility for utility-scale photovoltaic installation projects at all stages of work, creating and implementing construction planning schedules, coordinating suppliers and construction companies on site, managing and monitoring building site logistics, and ensuring that building work is completed to schedule, within budget, and per code requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage utility-scale photovoltaic installation projects from start to finish.
  • Create and implement construction planning schedules to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and construction companies to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Manage and monitor building site logistics to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Ensure that building work is completed to schedule, within budget, and per code requirements.
  • Manage and monitor subcontractors to ensure high-quality work.
  • Handle all processes involving building authorities up to project handover.
  • Carry out building acceptance procedures and establish and follow up on work to be carried out under guarantee.
  • Coordinate overall site safety management and compliance.
  • Coordinate installation with 3rd party engineers.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience managing the construction of major projects, preferably in the building of power stations or supply networks, or other utility-scale construction projects.
  • Experience managing renewable energy construction projects (solar, wind, storage) is preferred.
  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Management, or another related engineering science is preferred.
  • Excellent skills in MS Project or comparable project management tool, and possess strong technical aptitude.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Assertive, able to cope with pressure, a team player.
