Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our partner company, a renowned leader in the aerospace field located in Mobile, Alabama. This organization excels in the design, production, and distribution of aerospace products and services on a global scale. As a major player in commercial aircraft manufacturing, as well as in the Space, Defense, and Helicopter sectors, they hold the title of the largest aeronautics and space company in Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute all facets of machining, including the setup and operation of machinery such as 3-axis and 5-axis CNC mills, lathes, routers, lasers, and manual milling machines.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in programming with CATIA or superior software.
  • Read and write g-code using CAM software, ensuring precision at the machine controller.
  • Produce high-quality components efficiently, adhering to specifications and documentation.
  • Develop code programs for new parts entering the workshop.
  • Draft setup instructions for various machining tasks.
  • Analyze CAD design blueprints for accuracy and feasibility.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Certification from a Trade School.
  • A minimum of 6 years of demonstrated experience in machining; detailed apprenticeship or trade school certification may substitute for experience.
