Sparks Group is collaborating with a prominent aviation manufacturer in search of a skilled CNC Machinist I or II to enhance their team. This position offers a long-term indefinite contract, providing an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to advance their careers in a reputable organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Expertly handle all machining duties, including the setup and operation of various equipment such as 3-axis and 5-axis CNC mills, lathes, routers, lasers, and manual milling machines.
  • Proficient in programming with CATIA or similar software.
  • Ability to read and write g-code using CAM software and directly at the machine controller.
  • Consistently deliver high-quality products within designated timelines, adhering to provided specifications and documentation.
  • Code programs for newly acquired parts.
  • Develop comprehensive setup instructions for machining operations.
  • Analyze CAD design blueprints to facilitate machining processes.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 6 years of demonstrated experience in machining.
  • Trade School Certification is highly preferred (Apprenticeship or trade school certification may substitute for experience).
