Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Hospice Nurse Specialist to join our team at Heartland Hospice. This full-time position offers an estimated salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and location. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct patient care services, managing patient clinical records, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to deliver comfort, peace, and dignity to our patients and their families.
Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality patient care services, focusing on symptom management, pain control, and emotional support.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient clinical records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in quality assessment and performance improvement programs, contributing to the development of evidence-based practices.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, including physicians, therapists, and support staff, to ensure comprehensive care planning and execution.
- RN license in the state of employment or eligibility to obtain.
- At least 1 year of nursing experience in hospice, home health, ICU, geriatric, or oncology.
- Preferred qualifications include additional experience in hospital Staff RN, Med Surg, PACU, Float pool, ER or emergency room, critical care, acute care, cardiac, geriatric, admissions, wound care, telemetry, or travel nursing.
- Current driver's license and automobile insurance.
- Current CPR certification.
