Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant Associate to join our team at Providence Physician Service Organization. As a Medical Assistant Associate, you will work under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to provide basic patient care to assigned patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform administrative and clinical duties as directed by licensed practitioners
  • Meet basic patient care needs through both administrative and clinical duties
  • Work in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols
  • Provide high-quality customer service in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school for medical assistants or alternate training program
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
  • Medical assisting experience in a clinic setting (0-6 months)
  • Preferred qualifications: National Medical Assistant Certification upon hire, 6 months of prior experience providing a high level of customer service in a fast-paced environment, 6 months of previous experience in a healthcare setting working with an Electronic Health record (EHR)
