Job Overview:
In the role of Construction Project Leader, you will take charge of formulating construction project budgets, addressing RFPs, and supervising awarded projects from the bidding phase through to completion. Collaboration with clients, subcontractors, and our internal team will be key to ensuring the successful execution of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee construction project budgets.
- Respond to client-generated RFPs.
- Manage all facets of awarded projects, including budgeting, contracts, change orders, and OAC meetings.
- Act as the primary liaison for clients and subcontractors.
- Handle multiple projects concurrently.
- Interpret and analyze blueprints for project bidding.
- Work both independently and in conjunction with the construction team.
- Maintain organized and current project documentation.
- Supervise daily project management activities.
- Review design plans and monitor project modifications.
- Ensure subcontractor work aligns with project specifications and standards.
- Evaluate subcontractor bids and create project timelines.
Minimum Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in commercial construction project management.
- Experience in Biotech/Life Science construction is preferred.
- A 4-year college degree is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and Project.
- Familiarity with field management software is advantageous.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Understanding of building codes and OSHA regulations.
