Job Title: Concrete Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Concrete Engineer to join our team at Hoskinson Contracting. As a Concrete Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, analyzing, and overseeing the construction of concrete structures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement concrete mix designs tailored to specific project requirements.
  • Conduct structural analysis and calculations to ensure stability and strength.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Perform quality control and assurance tests on concrete materials.
  • Monitor construction sites to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to construction teams.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to concrete performance or application.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's preferred.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of concrete materials, design, and construction practices.
  • Proficiency in relevant engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, SAP2000).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to handle frequent change while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Valid Driver's license and ability to meet company insurance standards.
Experience:
  • 8-10 years of experience in concrete engineering or related field.
  • Experience with project management is advantageous.
