Join our dedicated team as a Healthcare Support Specialist, focused on providing exceptional care to patients within a hospital environment. This role offers a unique chance to collaborate with healthcare professionals in various units, including Medical-Surgical and Critical Care, as well as opportunities within our Float Team. Position Availability: We offer flexible scheduling options, including Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN positions, with both Day and Night shifts available. Educational Requirements: Candidates should possess training as Unlicensed Assistive Personnel, or the training prerequisites may be waived if the individual demonstrates proficiency in the necessary competencies as mandated by regulatory standards. Acceptable qualifications include:
  • Previous candidacy for professional nursing or practical nursing licensure, with unsuccessful attempts at state licensure examinations within the last three years;
  • Enrollment in a professional or practical nursing program, having completed the fundamentals of nursing course;
  • Current certification as a nursing assistant in accordance with state regulations;
  • Documented education as an emergency medical technician, medical assistant, or surgical technician;
  • Two years of documented experience as a nurse assistant within the past three years;
  • Completion of a professional or licensed practical nursing program outside the United States, currently awaiting licensure examination in this country.
Certification Requirement: Candidates must hold a BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
