Job Summary:
AmeriWound is seeking a skilled Physician, APP Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Round weekly at assigned facilities within territory to provide medical services and care to patients.
- Diagnose patient conditions via physical examination and/or telemedicine to ensure accurate and effective treatment.
- Perform medical procedures, such as debridement, as necessary to promote patient healing and recovery.
- Communicate and collaborate with facility clinical staff to ensure seamless patient care and treatment.
- Document each patient encounter in EMR - APRIMA and maintain patient medical records on company-assigned laptop computer.
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities as necessary to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements:
- MD, DO, PA, CRNP degree and certification.
- Active, unrestricted state medical license and DEA license.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to assigned facilities.
- Ability to build and maintain rapport with facility staff and patients.
- Strong technical skills and proficiency in EMR documentation.
Compensation and Benefits:
AmeriWound offers a competitive compensation package, including a variable monthly salary based on provider availability, patient volume, and documentation for reimbursement. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package, including malpractice insurance, mileage reimbursement, and a company laptop.
