Compensation: $18.00 per hour

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the scheduling of vehicles and drivers for established routes; promptly fill open shifts as needed.
  • Utilize basic office equipment and possess proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
  • Maintain punctuality and professionalism by adhering to scheduled work hours and uniform standards.
  • Hold a valid CDL Driver's License with Passenger Endorsement and carry a DOT Medical Card while on duty.
  • Ensure an acceptable driving record is maintained.
  • Provide courteous assistance to customers and staff, addressing inquiries and directing them to the Facility Manager when necessary.
  • Report any accidents, policy violations, safety concerns, or unusual incidents to the Facility Manager.
  • Facilitate monthly meetings for drivers, fulfill company training requirements, and implement changes to operational procedures as needed.
  • Support Facility Managers with additional tasks as required.

Qualifications:

Essential Skills: To succeed in this role, candidates must effectively perform all key responsibilities. The qualifications listed below represent the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Licensing: In accordance with DOT regulations, candidates must possess and maintain a valid CDL Class A, B, or C Driver's License, with a Passenger Endorsement if operating shuttle buses with a capacity of 15 or more passengers.

Medical Certification: A Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card) is mandatory.

Experience: Previous experience or knowledge in shuttle or dispatched transportation operations, scheduling, and employee management is preferred but not essential.

Work Availability: Shift requirements may vary based on hiring needs, including potential availability for 2nd and 3rd shifts and weekends.

Language Proficiency: Ability to read, comprehend, write, and communicate job-related information in English. Capable of drafting simple correspondence and effectively presenting information in both individual and group settings.

Mathematical Competence: Ability to perform basic arithmetic and understand Hours of Service regulations, including frequent calculations involving quarter hours.

Professional Appearance: Employees are expected to maintain a neat and professional appearance, adhering to uniform standards at all times.
