Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic and thriving healthcare organization. As a PRN Registered Nurse, you will provide professional nursing care to patients within your assigned unit, conducting patient assessments, planning, supervising, interventions, and evaluations to prevent complications and promote optimal functioning.
Responsibilities- Implement identified plans of care and contribute to the development, maintenance, and update of those plans, identifying potential risks and contributing to corrective action plans.
- Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions, completing all documentation in a timely manner.
- Coordinate and delegate care and treatments with the interdisciplinary team, notifying proper personnel of real or potential problems with patient issues and quality and/or appropriateness of care.
- Provide timely and adequate supervision to LPNs/LVNs and Nursing Aides/Techs, performing supervisory Charge Nurse responsibilities as assigned.
- Identify patient and family learning needs, teaching patients and families using effective teaching methods and documenting accordingly.
- Provide timely assistance with urgent and emergency situations, such as Code Blue and Rapid Response.
- Successful completion of an accredited Registered Nursing program required.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree preferred.
- One (1) year recent experience preferred, with acute care setting experience preferred.
- Current state license as a Registered Nurse required.
- Current CPR Certification required, with ACLS certification preferred if in Charge Nurse role.
- CRRN certification preferred.
