Nurse Practitioner

UNM Hospitals is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and promoting a culture of excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate patient care services to ensure seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare teams.
- Conduct thorough assessments, identify patient needs, and provide education and support to patients and families.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress, making adjustments to care plans as needed.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field.
- Nationally accredited nursing graduate.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of New Mexico.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Bilingual English/Spanish or other languages spoken in New Mexico.
- Experience working in a hospital setting or similar environment.
- Knowledge of electronic medical records and other healthcare software.
