Job Title: IBM Maximo Sr. Engineer & Technical Lead

We are seeking an experienced IBM Maximo Senior Engineer & Technical Lead to join our team at Planet Technology. As a key member of our implementation team, you will be responsible for leading the replacement of legacy mainframe systems with IBM Maximo EAM.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with system integrators, IT, and business users to design and implement Maximo installations and upgrades.
  • Configure Maximo and develop interfaces into external systems as needed.
  • Provide technical services throughout the entire SDLC, including solution architectural design and technical documentation.
  • Lead and perform hands-on data conversions and assistance to migration efforts.
  • Assist with data migration while ensuring data accuracy and integrity throughout.
  • Utilize Java and SQL as required for the project.
  • Work closely with users cross-organizationally to ensure system processes align with business priorities and goals.
  • Conduct system testing when required, collaborating with the Testing Center of Excellence to streamline and standardize quality assurance.
  • Lead and delegate tasks to indirect reports as required.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in IT, Engineering, or a related field.
  • US Citizen or Green Card Holder, located within the states.
  • 5+ years' experience within Information Technology.
  • 3+ years' experience in Maximo, ideally version 8, and expertise in Maximo Integration Framework, Application Technical Design, and Maximo DevOps implementations.
  • Prior expertise in data imports and migrations related to Maximo, including transferring data from legacy systems to Maximo while ensuring data accuracy and integrity throughout.
  • Advanced knowledge in Java and SQL.
  • A thorough understanding of business processes and workflow design and management within various systems processes within Enterprise Asset Management Platforms.
  • A history of performing conversions of functional requirements into technical specifications, including configurations, customization, and interface building.
  • Working knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.
  • IT Infrastructural and application development conceptual understanding, having worked in this capacity prior.
  • Adaptability within an ever-changing, fast-paced business environment, with an ability to change priorities and direction as needs and goals change throughout project.
