Position Overview
The Part-Time Sales Associate embodies a passion for fashion and customer engagement. This role is ideal for individuals who are stylish and enthusiastic, representing the rue21 brand with every interaction. The Sales Associate connects with a diverse clientele, fostering a welcoming and positive shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to provide exceptional service and support.
- Maintain a visually appealing store environment.
- Assist in inventory management and restocking merchandise.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
Qualifications
Experience: No previous experience is necessary; however, prior experience in customer service or retail is advantageous.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Capability to lift and carry items weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Comfortable climbing ladders and reaching overhead.
- Willingness to kneel, squat, and bend as needed.
Work Schedule:
Part-Time Sales Associates will have a schedule based on their availability at the time of hiring, with opportunities to increase hours depending on business needs, including weekends and holidays.
