Position Overview

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION: The Lead Strategic Management Consultant is tasked with facilitating the research, development, and procurement of various initiatives including CREW, JEOD, UWEOD, ExMed, ATA, and additional forthcoming projects as assigned.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Gather, assess, and interpret data to provide informed recommendations to the Government.
  • Evaluate pertinent information, which may encompass annual revenue figures, workforce statistics, cost efficiency, timelines, or financial outlays.
  • Conduct interviews with managers and staff while observing operational processes.
  • During the formulation of recommendations, grasp the essence of the organization, its interrelations with other governmental entities, and its internal structure and culture.
  • Devise solutions to identified challenges.
  • Construct and resolve quantitative models.
  • Communicate findings and suggestions to the Government.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in the planning, evaluation, and implementation of EOD-related operations.
  • The candidate must have a background in DoD acquisition, particularly in executing ACAT II-IV levels and AAPs, and possess familiarity with DON program office business practices for program areas such as Counter Radio Electronic Warfare (CREW), Joint Explosive Ordnance Disposal (JEOD), Underwater Explosive Ordnance Disposal (UWEOD), Expeditionary Medical (ExMed), and Anti-Terrorism Afloat (ATA).
  • A Secret security clearance is essential.
