Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Cashier - Coffee Bar to join our team at Hard Rock International (USA), Inc. As a Cashier - Coffee Bar, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Escort guests to their tables/booths and ensure a positive dining experience.
- Inspect dining areas and set tables/booths as needed.
- Practice and observe safety rules and regulations in all dining areas.
- Process financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Run reports for servers, micros, and credit card machines.
- Present checks and collect settlements for all necessary items.
- Maintain detailed knowledge of food menu items and coffee/tea beverages.
- Clean and maintain coffee equipment according to instructions.
- Serve efficiently between 25-35 guests per half-hour.
- Complete opening and closing side duties.
- Stock areas with necessary items during and after shifts.
- Maintain cleanliness of all dining areas.
- Follow all policies and procedures regarding alcohol and cash handling.
- Pick up and return bank and revenue to and from the cage or cash room.
- Verify all banks received and returned from the cage or cash room.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalency preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills and ability to read and write English required.
- Two years' guest service experience in a family or formal dining environment preferred.
- Casino Food & Beverage experience a plus.
- Ability to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts.
- Valid Food Handlers Card, Liquor License, and IGC Badge required.
- Ability to stand 50% of shift, walk 45% of shift, and sit 5% of shift.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to move throughout the business for extended periods.
