Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team and contribute to the development of our students' communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in speech therapy and a commitment to providing high-quality services to students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement customized treatment plans to address the unique needs of each student.
  • Deliver therapy to students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and school personnel to develop and implement strategies to support student advancement.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of student evaluations, treatment, and progress.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to goal setting.
  • Educate and assist school staff and parents on speech and language topics, promoting a culture of communication and collaboration.
  • Stay current with advancements in speech-language pathology, incorporating best practices into daily work.
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid California state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP).
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
  • California Educator Credential with a Clinical or Rehabilitative Services Credential in Language, Speech, and Hearing.
  • Previous experience in a school setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population.
