About the Role

Virtus Health is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. As an RBT, you will play a vital role in providing one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to increase desired skills and decrease challenging behaviors.
  • Collect and record data on client progress and behavior.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure client success and provide a supportive environment.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed clinical session notes and documentation.
  • Assist BCBA's in developing reports and conducting assessments as needed.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or a related field is highly preferred.
  • Previous experience working with individuals with special needs or as a Registered Behavior Technician is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Physical ability to stand, sit, bend, stoop, push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
