Job Summary
We are seeking qualified and caring individuals to join our team as caregivers. As a caregiver with Golden Heart Senior Care, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients and their families. Your primary responsibility will be to provide high-quality, safe, and supportive care to our clients, assisting them with activities of daily living and other essential tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assist clients with personal hygiene, bathing, and dressing.
- Mobility: Assist clients with ambulation, physical therapy exercises, and walking inside and outside of the home.
- Meals: Assist clients with planning and preparation of meals and preparation of menus.
- Housekeeping: Perform housekeeping duties as needed, including dishes, bedding, laundry, dusting, sweeping, and mopping.
- Reminders: Remind clients to take prescribed medications and schedule appointments.
- Errands: Complete shopping tasks or accompany clients while they shop.
- Transportation: Provide safe and reliable transportation to appointments, shopping, pharmacy, and other errands as needed.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have a genuine passion for providing exceptional care and support to seniors. You should be a team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently. A background in healthcare or a related field is preferred, but not required.
